I love working with individuals and designers to create paintings that reflect personal taste and enhance the feel of a home. Collaborating closely on size, color, and composition is an incredibly satisfying process — one that produces not only a one-of-a-kind work of art, but often leads to meaningful, lasting friendships.

SIZE & SHAPE. What do you have in mind? If you send me photos of the room where the painting will hang, including furniture, floor coverings, and other elements, I can help you work through the specifics. Are there colors you'd like to include or avoid? The goal is for the finished piece to feel like a natural part of your space.

STYLE & PALETTE. Take a look at my existing work and note which paintings appeal to you. We can use those as a starting point to zero in on color, style, and mood. You might love the palette of one piece and the orientation of another. Don't hesitate to share what doesn't appeal to you. Knowing your dislikes is just as useful as knowing your preferences.

TIMEFRAME. Custom paintings generally take four to eight weeks to complete once we've agreed on the details. The timeline varies with size and how much time we spend upfront. I've found that a little extra discussion early on pays big dividends in the end.

PRICING. Custom works are typically priced about 25% above comparable paintings from my collection, with size being the primary factor. I'll provide a firm quote once we've settled on the particulars. To get started, I'll ask you to sign a simple contract and a 50% deposit is required before I begin. Shipping is handled separately and depends on size and distance. If you're near my Connecticut studio, I may be able to deliver the painting in person. It's always a genuine pleasure to meet in person with someone I've worked closely with.
